Welcome to New York!

Greenwich Village and Downtown Brooklyn were alive this weekend! NYU welcomed just over 5000 members of the class of 2019 to campus on Saturday…who knew moving in could be so fun?! I spent my morning at Founders Hall, helping students and families unpack cars filled with mirrors, pillows, refrigerators, microwaves, snacks, and tons of decorations and get settled into their new home for the next year.  Many of my colleagues in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions volunteered to help with Move In Day and our very own Dean of Admissions, Shawn Abbott, was the move-in captain for Founders!  As an admissions counselor, it was so exciting to see the students I helped admit to NYU just a few months ago. I even bumped into Zoe from Seattle, who I had met on the road last fall!
